I get where this is coming from. though, I think a search option in the consults tab would be better, because this situation can apply to all different kinds of products. Sometimes the client wants to know the shampoo they used "last year", even though it was actually 5 years ago.
This is a very niche thing that I honestly don't believe deserves its own tab.
Food tab would be very helpful.
