Currently when adding an external document to a client or patient record you have to have the document saved in digital format somewhere on a computer and then upload it.
If you only have a paper copy of the document, say from a fax machine, or brought in by the Client, you have to open a scanning program, scan the document, save the document on your computer, upload it to the client or patient record, and then in most cases, delete the scanned document from the computer.
This enhancement request is to add a button on the "Add New File" dialog box that says "Scan Document" which, when clicked, will allow a paper document to be scanned directly into NEO.
This would save somewhere near 5 minutes every time we need to add a paper document to a client or patient record.
I have attached a mockup of what the new Add New File dialog box would look like.
Should have the provision of directly scanning and attaching document to Neo as PDF rather than scanning and then from scanned files look up to upload
We sometimes use the ipad to take photo and download. Much easier but the document is not as pretty in the file. Still useable and saves time.
