We use tablets in our clinic to input information into patients charts so we don't have to walk back and forth between the patients and a computer while administering care and logging what we've done in the comm log.
We've started printing QR codes which link to the patients chart. This allows us to scan the QR code on their kennel, and immediately gain acces to their information. however, as of now; we have to create those QR codes manually.
Ideally, there would be a "print patient label" option in a patient's chart, which would allow us to use a label printer to print these with the click of a button.
Ours contain the QR code, the name of the patient, their ID and the name of the owner. We place these on the kennels, and items associated with the patient to keep things organized.
Having this feature would greatly improve effeciency within our clinic, and many others.
