changing the year automatically on reminders once Jan 1 hits

It would be nice if for Reminders, come Jan 1, it automatically changes the year to the new year for Due Dates, for example. Flea and ticks or heartworm preventative instead of always having to manually change it to the next year once the date has past. I feel like we will miss out on alot of reminders to people because we have to manually go into each file and change it.
