It appears that the use who is assigned in the Counter Sale is automatically assigned as the provider on both the dispensing label and the consult. This happened with a user account that is not included in the provider list.
Thanks for the feedback, Christa. Yes, we have started training our staff to create the consult and are largely ignoring the OTC tab. We ran into the problem with the preventatives. You may want to look into this as the receptionist/non-provider is automatically added to the RX label as the provider through the OTC tab, which should not be possible.
Thank you for submitting this enhancement request! The Staff field on the Counter Sale is not limited to only providers. This allows practices whose staff get credit for selling over the counter items to be selected as the staff who sold the product. We recommend using the consultation for prescriptions, so you can prescribe the medication allowing to be added to the patient's Rx tab.
