how is this not a thing yet
March of 2024 now - this was originally requested in 2018. NEO reporting is a joke as is. It takes hours just to reconcile A/R.
are you ever going to build this to integrate with Quickbooks Online? Its only the largest small business software in the world, hundreds of apps integrate and you can make this work, why are you not offering this to your customers to save time and headache? https://developer.intuit.com/app/developer/qbo/docs/get-started/start-developing-your-app

We have to pull all the product class reports and then enter into spreadsheet then send to our bookkeeper then they put into quickbooks monthly... so much time wasted and so much money wasted on paying employees and bookkeeper to do these actions. Please HELP
Please make this work with other accounting systems somehow. Quickbooks is just one option, has two separate APIs (online and desktop), and is not used by everyone. There's also Wave, Xero, Zoho, Sage 50, etc.
At a minimum, I should be able to export a journal entry with sales, total payments, totals for each payment type, adjustments, changes in AR, and sales tax on a cash or accrual basis to a CSV. That would handle most cases.
The current list of invoices and payments is horribly insufficient. The data do not work together and there are payments without associated invoices. I was trying to keep my accounting in sync using those and it was basically impossible, so I had to give up.
I look forward to much improvement in this area.
This would save so much time!! Having the ability to automatically upload transaction data, payments, and sales tax reports would save hours of manual work.
This would save me HOURS of time reconciling books and payments. This was the biggest advantage of using Square vs Neo Payments prior to making the switch.
