We would like an option to view a list of all of our products' expiration dates (batches) in one place. We'd also like an option for an alert or popup to show products that are about to expire or that have expired.
I agree! We need to see what products are expiring. I use to use intravet from 20 yrs ago and I could do a monthly report on what products of mine are expiring and go through and get them out of my inventory and GET credit for my expiring product. I am losing the hospital money b/c stuff is going out of date and I can't sell it or return it for credit. This is very important feature that I don't understand why this software is not able to do this. Please Fix this!
Yes! Was just coming here to request this.
So important! Easy and convenient way to monitor expiring products in inventory so nothing is overlooked!!!!
When you have several products/items in a veterinary hospital it would be extremely nice to have a place where you can view expired products so they can be returned for credit or disposed of properly. New to NEO (12 days) and not sure why this option is not available.
At the very least we need a report that reflects batch data to monitor up-coming expiration dates or to aid in regular inventory audits.
Add the fields 'batch number' and 'expiration date' to the existing 'Inventory Listing' report please!
Some product batches run the risk of expiring on the shelf, but many more are long gone before the expiration date. Because inventory is issued from the oldest batch in the system the manual oversight required to monitor the accuracy of prescription labels between issuing veterinarian and the pharmacy is staff time that could be better used at other tasks.
With a system as robust as Neo having all the inventory sales data linked but not inventory management seems like a big flaw.
We sooooo need this! I completely "ditto" Guest comment from Nov 19/22.
my goodness yes! this is so important and seems like an egregious oversite for such a powerful program like Neo. is there a reason that this hasn't been done yet?
we can clearly see all lots and expiration dates in one place already using the batches tab associated with any given product.
this should be easy (in theory) assuming you are inputting the received products manually/accurately. accuracy here could be increased and human error eliminated with a neo bar code scanner. it would be great to create a report of ALL products 'getting ready to expire.' you could allow for the individual clinic management teams to set their own parameters for what 'getting ready to expire' means. of course we need a report of 'expired items' (hopefully the 'getting ready to expire' report keeps the 'expired items' report short.) finally, once items expire we need to be able to easily identify them in the batches tab.
YES!!! so important
