Inventory: Track product quantity for batch expiration and lot numbers

We would like the option to track the quantity of items, based on its lot numbers and expiration dates. For example, to be able to tell Neo we have 20 tablets of Acepromazine with lot number 12345 that expire on 12/30/2017. Similary, would also like the option of being able to select which batch (lot/exp/qty) to use when invoicing.

This would be alot of help exspecially if a batch number is no longer in use. I recently filled a prescription for a client and because it still had the old batch numbers. It said the prescription expired at the end of this month when we did a 3 month refill it would be nice if there was a quanity to each batch/lot number and it would automatically switch from one batch to the next!!!

Yes please. We just had a patient with Lyme disease that had the vaccine. Since the batch number was not on the consultation the vaccine provider would not cover the failure. Being able to select the batch number would be great.

Additionally, the system should be based on a FEFO (First expiry first out) rather than last in first out. We should be prompt to use the batch number that is the soon expiring, rather than the first that we have received.

Also, a expiring soon report should be available, as the critical level stock alert. to make sure we can have a quick view on the potential lost.
