Would like to add prescription expiration dates which would revoke refills after that date.
We need to have the ability to not get the batch expiration, but manually add expiration dates (i.e. 1 year from prescription date) that way if the owner doesn't come in for refills for multiple months, no refills after certain date vs. based on number of refills. I've never had this not be an option in any system I've used in the past.
I to would like this as well as the ability to change any remaining refills. ie: a client usually gets their rx monthly and has say 4 refills left, they are going to be out of town next month so decide to get 2 pills instead of just the 1, we can change the amount to dispense, but the refills are only decreased by 1 instead of 2. I know you can add a second line with the rx, but I find this not only redundant and is much more time consuming which negates any form of streamlining as well as it will bring up a duplicate item warning.
Yes, PLEASE!
It would be nice it prescriptions were automatically added to the prescription tab with the option of refilling from there. It would be quicker to see when last filled and faster to refill than having to create a completely new consult.
Prefer to set prescription expiration dates rather than a number of refills allowed. Something like - refillable until (fill in date here). This would allow us to better comply with physical exam requirements for prescriptions.
