If this ability is created, please make it optional- at multi-doctor practices, a default provider could be a nightmare...

Similarly, the ability to automatically set the provider to whoever created the consult. I'm sure many of us schedule based on doctor, not room, and have edited the "rooms" on the schedule page to actually be the doctors available that day. It would be nice to not rely on the receptionist to change the provider when the appointment is made.

I'm not sure if you meant this, but being able to do a default for certain products or appointment types - in multiple doctor practice often only one doctor does ACL, TPLO, Ultrasound etc.

Especially if I'm logged in as a doctor!
Some PM software lets you choose the current default provider while logged in as someone else, so that a tech who is working with a doctor can easily enter everything.
At the very least, once I've entered a dozen charges, being able to set them all at once to myself like they can be changed if they were entered as another provider would be really nice.
