Procedure Templates: Ability to zero out or change the product's price on a procedure template and still display each product line on the invoice

We would like to be able to zero out the prices on a procedure template without grouping them on an invoice.

We have so many spay/neuter certificates we accept that include a free Rabies or free pain meds and I just realized that none of that prints out on the client’s invoice when they check out.

We are currently having this same issue. Please add this option, it would help so much!

How many votes do we need to get to have this problem fixed?

    Feature Description:

We propose the addition of a price adjustment feature within the templates. This will allow us to:

    1. Quickly modify prices for services or products directly within the template.

    2. Reduce errors arising from manual adjustments when applying templates to invoices.

    3. Improve efficiency by reducing the time spent editing line items individually.

    Proposed Implementation:

    1. Introduce an "Adjust Price" option next to each line item within a template.

    2. Permit these adjusted prices to be saved for future use or be a one-time modification.

    Potential Benefits:

    • Time savings for both administrative and medical staff.

    • Decreased likelihood of billing errors.

    • Enhanced workflow, allowing the team to focus more on patient care rather than administrative tasks.

    Summary:

The ability to adjust prices within templates would streamline our billing processes, minimize errors, and allow for a more efficient workflow. We believe this feature would make Idexx Neo more versatile and useful for veterinary practices.

Thank you for considering this feature request.

Wow this is a big issue - I can't believe this isn't fixed. Sad Neo

I feel like this would be an easy solution to implement, and I am sad we do not have it already! When creating a template, in addition to being able to put in an automatic quantity upon creation, it should have a checkbox or price box to select using the set price, a different price, or zero price. Right now we would have to make duplicates of our "package" items with a zero price on them, and I feel like that is more headache than it is worth!

Yes the ability to make a "group" that can have an specific price for a "package" and still show invoice items individually on invoice as well as removing them from inventory counts is necessary. This adjustment would be helpful sooner than later.

Agreed, this is a big issue that seems like something that should be relatively easy to do/improve upon. (Of course I obviously have no idea how this would actually be coded) How I envision this working is exactly the same as it does work when you click the "group in invoice" button- I would just like to be able to apply the same principal without clicking that button. Is there an easy way to make that happen? (Someday soonish! :) Thanks.

I dont think we are paying enough attention to this. In our clinic, we had to create a work-around to be able to have "groups" with zero dollar prices that would show up on the final invoice to the client. I hope developers get rolling on this because the only bad thing the current feature has is that ALL the lines of the proc template wont show on the final invoice which is why we CANT use the feature at all and had to create a work-around. Yet the work-around causes frustrations too in other aspects. It's too long to type, I just really hope they fix this soon.
