Diagnostics: Manually enter diagnostic results in patient Results tab (fecal test, in house cytology, etc)

Would like to manually enter test results completed in house for things like fecal tests and cytology in the patient's Results tab.

I would love this enhancement for a lot of different things. Like a blood pressure, ECG, SPO2, cytology (especially Ear cytologies), FAVN result or any other 'test' that doesn't have a code. I understand that Idexx has a cytology code and send out FAVN, but I'm not going to send in a lipoma cytology and charge the owner $200 just to have the result in the result tab. I'm also not going to send out a FAVN through Idexx who acts as a middle man and sends it along to kansas state or other lab who only charges $80 for the test and Idexx charges me $300 which is an insane 'handling' fee, just to get the result in the results tab.

If there would be a way to have a diagnostic invoice code that just said "outside lab" or something similar. I could add that to an invoice, it would then show up in the result tab. From there I could click on the item in the result tab and look at the comments, in the comments I could write down the test I did and the result, or use the 3 dots to jump to the consultation that I did the lab test in.

ESPECIALLY for out of house labs that clients bring in, or in-house PCV/TP.

Should be able to add every value expected to see in a chemistry, cbc, etc with proper format (mg/dl, %, etc)

Yes!! We don't use IDEXX for Dx - we have our own in house machines and would love to be able to manually input our results.

Currently our work around is scanning results and putting them under files, not ideal, but functional.
