Consultations: Choose tax rate at time of sale (select multiple tax rates on products/services; ability to apply tax rates on consultation: location of the sale, i.e. county, town; method sold, i.e. retail or doctor prescribed)

Provide the ability to select tax rates conditionally.

* Some Canadian practices have an interesting situation where they charge two different tax rates depending on how they are selling the product. The first way is if a client comes in and purchases a product over the counter they are charged a combination of the GST and PST (Federal and Province tax). However if that product is prescribed by a doctor the product is only charged GST. "Here in BC Canada we have GST (Federal Tax) and PST (State Tax). Here is the problem GST is charged on everything, however PST is only charged on a few items and in certain circumstances. For instance take a product like Hill's C/D - if someone comes in and purchases this over the counter - we charge GST & PST. However if the C/D is prescribed by a veterinarian it now only gets charged GST."

* US practices. "is there a way a product can have two different tax rates and have it changeable on the invoice based on if the service or product was dispensed in the country or in town?"

This will require the ability to define more than one tax rate on a product/service.

I am mobile and will see several towns in Colorado, all with individual tax rates. It's very difficult to remember between each visit to ensure we have the correct tax rate and charge accordingly.

This is also important for Canadians who have a tax exemption status. Right now in Neo the only option is to check the "tax exempt" box in the client tab which removes all tax. We need the ability to provide the rebate at the point-of-sale to credit the 8% Ontario portion of the HST and only charge the 5% federal portion of the HST. We also need to be able to accurately record and report this information for our book keeper.

Having tax rate selected at time of sale will allow mobile businesses to accurately charge tax based on the location of the point of sale.
